Coombe Hill is a prominent hill and countryside viewpoint in the Chiltern Hills near Wendover, a short distance from Aylesbury. It is one of the highest points in the Chilterns and offers wide views across the Vale of Aylesbury and surrounding countryside. Much of the land is managed by the National Trust and forms part of a protected landscape known for chalk grassland, woodland, and wildlife habitats.
Information published by the National Trust indicates that the site is popular for walking and outdoor recreation, with footpaths, countryside trails, and open areas used by visitors throughout the year. The hill is also known for the Coombe Hill Monument, a large obelisk built in 1904 in memory of 148 men from Buckinghamshire who died in the Second Boer War. The monument stands at the summit and is a notable landmark visible across the surrounding landscape.
