Calibre Audio is a UK-based charity located near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire that provides audiobook services for people who find it difficult or impossible to read printed text. Established in 1974, we support individuals with a range of conditions that can affect reading, including sight loss, dyslexia, physical disabilities, or cognitive impairments. Our vision is for a society where audiobooks are fully recognised, celebrated and used as an inclusive, accessible way to engage with reading.
We have a growing collection of over 21,000 audiobooks for all ages and interests – from children’s favourites, to bestsellers, non-fiction and classics. Members can access titles through online streaming, mobile apps, downloads, or memory sticks sent by post.
As a charity, we and rely on donations and memberships to support our work and expand access to accessible reading materials.
We invite you to pop on to our website where you will find detailed information about Calibre and our service.
